Kohala Ukeleles
The Kohala Ukuleles
This aesthetically pleasing ukuleles is a perfect choice for those serious beginners. The Kohala ukuleles is the entry-level ukuleles for the Lanikai series, which is ideal for those days when you’re sitting by the beach at sunset, looking for the right instrument to strum your favourite tune.
The top, back, sides and fretboard of the Kohala is made from sturdy Nato wood, giving it a Mahogany-like finish. Consisting of 12 frets, the Kohala ukuleles comes in a standard (soprano) body size, which generally equates to 21”.
The Kohala has geared tuners in Chrome or Ivoroid, and is tuned to the standard G-C-E-A chords. Getting the strings stretched out quicker will ensure the Kohala ukuleles stays in tune far longer than new strings, and even then the sounds resonate rather reasonably.
White binding on its bound body compliments the glossy finish of the Kohala ukuleles, which is not only musically satisfying, but also visually pleasing.
